The Kaikoura Trotting Club has a long and rich history which began when the Club was first formed on 31st January 1914.
The first Kaikoura Trotting Cup, presented by Mr AJ Marshall (president) was won by a horse called “Kintail” (owner Albert Edgar and the trainer Billie Honeybone).
