We have just completed the 100th running of the Kaikoura Cup, won by Merlin and held five heats of the 2025 World Driving Championships. The planning will start again for our 2026 Race Weekend that we are sure will live up to the high standards and excitement we experienced this year. The Main Hall and the Bob Rochford Memorial Garden will be open to the public. The Food Court in the centre of the track will be open both race days with a wide array food and beverage choices.

TAKE THE WHALE TRAIN TO THE RACES
Take the stress out of deciding who is driving to the races. The Whale Train will get you and your friends from Christchurch or Rangiora and return while you take in the scenery and make your selections for race day. The Kaikoura Trotting Club is fortunate to partner with Pounamu Tourism to make this a day to remember. Get your groups together and book on the link below now while space is available.

A-Grade sites are located along the inside on the home straight and B-Grade sites are one row back from the fence allowing easy access to watch the action. The sites are 6m wide by 8m deep allowing plenty of room to set up your gazebo, BBQ, tables and chairs.
